We spoke with Greg Turnovitski, owner of Ultimate Sports Equipment, to find out more about this awesome prize. 

What kind of equipment is the ULTIMATE US-2 home gym?

It’s a single stack home gym, that basically has options that allow you to do different shoulder presses, leg extensions, arm exercises and all kinds of other movements. I call it a 360 machine, because you can work every part if your body.

How much space does it take up?

This product is really versatile and doesn't take up a lot of space. We have this in schools, government facilities and all kinds of places, but because it is a single stack, it is made for home use and tight spaces. So, if you are converting a bedroom into a workout area, it can fit into a corner. The ULTIMATE US-2 home gym maxes out at about 7 feet high so it should fit in every room in the house.

Do you need to be fit already to use this piece of equipment?

This is a great piece of equipment for all levels of fitness, even beginners. What's nice about it is it goes up to 200 pounds, but with a graduated stack, you can just have 5 pounds on it. So if youre working your triceps at 5 pounds, you can quickly switch the amount of weight to 50 pounds to do a chest press. It has a lot of functionality.

We know homes that have bought these machines for their teenagers to use and we just shipped one to the BC interior for a man in his late fifties. Anybody could use this.

How will the winner know just how to utilize this piece of equipment?

There’s an instruction manual that comes with this piece of equipment, but it also has diagrams that are on the actual machine, showing your starting position and mid-point, so you can see what you need to do as you are doing it.
