Being at a standstill can be very frustrating. You are doing everything right and you are feeling it! Are you using weights in your workout? I have 51 lbs to lose throughout the challenge but I am only at 1200 calories per day. I wAS ALSO TOLD THAT DRINKING ONE EXTRA GLASS OF WATER PER 20 LBS OF EXTRA WEIGHT (sorry for the caps) is helpful.Just remember you didn't choose to call yourself smokin hot just for the hell of it so keep doing what your doing!

I need some advice.... HELP!
I'm keeping a food journal and eating roughly 1500 calories a day. I'm working out 1 hour 4 days a week... but I've stalled out and haven't lost anything for 2 weeks?
Plateau already?
I find it so frustrating that the number on the scales isn't moving because I'm feeling better about myself, I'm moving more than I have in years.... but that stupid number won't change.

Any suggestions?

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to this group, this website, and to motherhood! My son is six and a half months old. I find it so hard to be motivated, especially on nights like last night, where it seemed he was up constantly. I plan to stick to my weightloss though! It will be a struggle, but worth it I'm sure!!

i'm still here just short of time...so quickly...
keep it up Yummies...or if you've gone on hiatus (like me...see my blog), then no worries, we'll get back to it when life is a lil more calmer!!!lol

GOod luck while on vacation. I just came back and I gained 3lbs. Make sure to keep your water intake up and your alcohol intake down (which I didn't do). Enjoy your vacation.

Any suggestions on eating while on vacation? I am alittle worried about not having the controlled environment like I do at home.

Hey ladies.
Well I didn't lose and I didn't gain this week.. which I guess i'll live with. Kind of figured that would happen this week.

I have to buckle down this week. Going to an event next weekend and want to feel even better about myself!

I'm new to the group, mommy of one, and I am feeling so great today I had to tell everyone.
Do you all realize we are in week 3 - that means we're doing this!!!!
If any of you are like me you've "tried" a million times before.... but this is different..... this time we're making it happen!
I went to an awsome Combat Class tonight. (combination of Kick boxing and Martial arts)
At my first class 3 weeks ago I literally thought I was having a heart attack. Tonight, I felt empowered!
I was still challenged by the workout - but I did it, and notice a BIG improvement in my energy level.
So keep going Yummy Mommies!!!!! We can do this!!!!

WOW Tpartee if that wasnt motivation I dont know what is! thanks for that I enjoy popping in this group from time to time because it's very motivating

Yeah, 1lb is 1lb and it's still a great loss! I had lost 5 lbs in 1 1/2 weeks, so I think my body went "whoa-wait a second...what is Dannie doing?? we must keep the fat!". haha! So I GAINED 1 lb. There you go, I said it! However I did go out to a hockey game and have a few beers and didn't eat so well, etc. Anyways, this next weigh in will be GOOD! Making use of my new treadmill :)
